Ambassador Tripathi retired from Indian Foreign Service after serving for 33 years during which he was posted in Africa, Europe, Middle East and Latin America. Ambassador Tripathi is a keen Golfer and a Poet. One collection of his Urdu Ghazals had been published while the next one is under publication.
